When I change the Formatting for a Measure to Format = "Dynamic", I get the following error
Something went wrong The changes below didn't work, so we've reverted your model to a working state. Try again. Failed changes
|
After the failure, the Formatting is reset to what it was prior, but the Formatting pane for the measure breaks:
In my affected Datamart, that we have been working on for some months, I am no longer able to create new measures or change the formatting options for existing measures. When I create a new measure, I am not able to save the measure through editing the DAX-editor field; I can only change the name in the sidebar. I'm not 100% sure this is related to this bug, but they manifested at the same time. The only workaround for getting detailed formatting options is through the Custom Format options.
I create a new Datamart to test in a pure enviroment, and the Formatting bug seems to be persistent.
However, it does correct iteself if I change Data formats to another type and then back.
This workaround does not seem to work for my affected Datamart.

Hi @Anonymous ,
My interface is not the same as yours. When I click the measure in datamart, a tab "Measure tools" appears, and I can change data format there. When I change to "Dynamic", it also gets the same error message, which means the data cannot be changed to dynamic type, but after that all things still work fine.
