Dataflow failed

Hi !

One of our dataflow is failing to refresh since a couple of days. I'm used to get errors related to data issue but this time it seems that the message is very different and I can't find the issue and how to fix it.

This is the message I got. All the tables in my dataflow are showing the same error :

An error occurred while communicating with another service, please try again later. If this problem recurs, please contact support with this message. (Request ID: b413be07-c18b-4864-b377-5d41d58329f0)

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Thanks !

Whether this dataflow could be refreshed at other time ranges that you can check it in your side to adjust the refresh time.

Or if try to create a new dataflow with the same data source and data size in a new workspace, whether it could be refreshed successfully.

If both not works, please consider providing more details about this issue, like the data source type, workspace type, some screenshots etc.

Hi @v-yingjl

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have been able to export the problematic dataflow in JSON and recreate a new one from this export. I have also been able to refresh the new one wihtout issue.

But for some reason, this morning the automatic refresh of the problematic dataflow worked correctly after it failed for 4 days in a row...

The data sources hasn't changed and I haven't really changed anything in the dataflow settings yesterday...

I'm not sure why it worked today and I'm a little concerned this might happened again in the future for no reasons just like it did.

The dataflow has 49 tables. I'm using power bi pro only so there's no incremental refresh.

The total size of the data sources (all csv files) is about 500MB.

Is there any advice that you might have that would help me either better understand what the problem could have been or optimize the datablow so I can prevent the issue from happening again ?

Thanks again !

Jo
