DRLS - using inactive relationships

Hi, 

may I please use inactive replathoships in setting up the DLRS within a role?

I am using singer user connection of USER role (via USERPRINCIPALNAME()) and second role for the dataset is MANAGER role where I use DAX to get in a logic based on hierarchical path, that the manager will see all her/his team). 

The problem is in there are multipe connections to the team within fact table.

Hi  @Anonymous ,

You could try setting up bidirectional relationships between your tables to correctly slice and dice your data.
If there is actually a 1-to-many relationship, you could use the join column to copy all the dimension keys from the other facts down to your fact table then just join the dimensions to the facts and remove the join between your fact table and the other fact tables.
Be careful when trying to combine multiple fact tables with multiple dimension tables as it can create a lot of performance issues as well as potential issues for data not being accurate if using many-to-many relationships.
