Default date range for date slicer

Power BI really needs to have a default range for date slicers. It is almost impossible to achieve this in the current settings.
For example, it would be beneficial to create a slicer, add dates from a calendar whether it be sales dates, created dates etc, then be able to set a default date range (eg Jan 1st - April 1st).
Once the default date range is set, then users are still able to filter the date range (eg Jan 1st - Dec 31st).

Thanks for your feedback . You can  vote the idea and comment there to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
