Column header name shrinking

I have a table & desire to remove the word "Month" from the first column. I can rename the column in the values area to do this.

When I don't put any value there - it reverts back to the field name from my data source. (If it matters - SSAS tabular cube.) When I put a space there so that it will look like it's invisible to my users - the height of the header collapses and you can only see a small portion of the remaining header words.

This is happening both in desktop and the service.

Hi @KellyDittmar,

This is expected. The column name can't be empty, so each time you delete the column name it will revert to the previous valid column name.

Thanks!

I wasn't really surprised when it reverted back - but it would be nice to put nothing there given that's what names the headers...

Multiple spaces didn't make a difference.

Ah - and I found the way to change the color for just the header. I missed that yesterday. Thanks for the idea! And for those who come after us - adjust these settings (May 2018 desktop release)
