Can't save file (new name or renamed) with "." (Period)

Since the most recent update.. October or November? I can't seem to save a file that has a "." in it.
For example I have a sales report named "Arbor Sales 2.0"

When saving from desktop app, if it already has this name, it can save, but if I am saving a new file, or if I am renaming the file, when typing the name in, it saves the file as "Arbor Sales 2.0" instead of "Arbor Sales 2.0.pbix"
So, especially when I want to publish my file, you have to save it, close the file, rename it from file explorer, open the file back up in PBI desktop, then publish it. Not the biggest problem, but just a small annoying bug.

Hi @Hazenm ,

I did reproduce the problem as you did, and unlike the September version, it provides a more convenient way to do it, which may be by design, just as filename expandability can be hidden in computers. You can avoid this problem by using "Browse this device".

Ahh, yes, is this option new in October version? I didn't see it before. That does the trick!
