Can't add a user to an app after updating Power BI

I have just updateed Power BI online version, I am trying to ass a user to an app but get an error message;

how do I roll back to the original version so I can add people, this is urgent.

Hi, had the exact same issue today. Managed to find out it was because one of the users in the app had an inactive e-mail address (left the company). After removing inactive users, I was able to add new users and update the app without an issue.

 

*btw. if you have a lot of users and are not sure which ones are inactive, you can do this (if these are users from your company's Outlook address book):
Select the whole list >> paste it to Excel >> filter only @ to filter only e-mail addresses >> copy paste to next sheet only the e-mail addresses >> use =A1&";" in cell B1 and pull it down >> use =CONCAT(B1:B20) in cell C1 (adjust number 20 based on number of rows used) >> copy the result from cell C1 >> create new e-mail in Outlook >> paste it into "To" field >> click somewhere else >> Outlook should display a message that "We won't be able to deliver this message to xx"
