Can not subscribe to report after being published in App.

Hi,

When I try to open a report from a published app,

I can view the report but am not able to click the subscribe button.

The button isn't greyed out, he is simply there but doesn't doe anything after clicking on it.

I do not have access to the underlying app workspace, which shouldn't be necessary as I'm able to view the report in the app?

The subscription does work for other users (which do have access to the app workspace as well).

What am I doing wrong? And if this is behaving as designed, is there a workaround for this problem?

Does the issue happen with older version workspace or new version workspace? 

As I tested, the user only has permission to access the published app (isn't member of the workspace) can click the subscribe button to subscribe reports from app. Please check if you hit limitations: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-subscribe#considerations-and-troubleshoo...

In your scenario, when you mention "The subscription does work for other users (which do have access to the app workspace as well)."? Do these users can subscribe the same report which you aren't able to subscribe? Please ensure you are testing the same report, also please try the same browser as them.
