Bug: Query from Salesforce object will not remove duplicates

I am bringing in data from a Salesforce object and making a few edits in the query portion of PowerBI Desktop. I edit my query and try to remove duplicates, then click "Close and Apply." However, the edits are not made (duplicates are not removed). I can confirm this because I can also copy the data into Excel and it finds several duplicates.

Currently, my workaround is to load the data via Excel, remove duplicates manually, and then load that data into PowerBI Desktop.

@marymaier

I cannot repro the same issue as you. Can you see the ‘Removed Duplicates’ step in APPLIED STPES?

If possible, could you please provide your PBIX file to me?

Best Regards,

Herbert

This is now working so this topic can be removed. I played around with it all day yesterday and I'm not sure what did it, but it is working.

Thank you!

Mary
