Baseline Work not being picked up in Power BI report

Hello,

We’re working on forecasting reports in Power BI using Project Web App data. We have ‘Approved Work’ calculated as sum of Baseline 9 and Baseline 10 project work.

However, these values are not appearing for some projects at all. They are not being picked up by the report even though the plan has values. Project plan for these projects, when opened in mpp it shows values for baselines 9 and 10 in project creation view.

This discrepancy is occurring for about 20 projects for which Power BI is not picking up the data, but the rest of the projects, it is able to pick up the baseline 9 and 10 values if it’s present. We’re not able to figure out why that might be.

The report is however picking up the Project baseline work for baseline 0 that is 2506 hrs.

@pbaravani,

Could you please share screenshots about the above scenario? Do you calculate Approved Work on Project web app side? Could you please check if there are any differences between the 20 projects and the rest projects?

Regards,
Lydia

@Anonymous,

Could you please go to Advanced editors of different queries in Power BI Desktoo query editor, and check if there are any differences for the problem projects and rest projects in the code?

Regards,
Lydia
