Azure SQL server Dataset can't refresh

Last refreshes failed for my Dataset, for approximately a month: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error.
Cluster URI: WABI-US-EAST2-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID: 5fe2670d-dfb9-4b45-869e-398e8abd5ff3
Request ID: ba6b39dd-326c-507d-bfd4-7cf446e03a80
Time: 2021-05-11 14:32:56Z

What is there to do? It's connected to an Azure SQL server and the credentials are fine. A firewall exception had been added and it was all working fine before.

Thanks!

hi

If you could refresh it in power bi desktop?

or try to re-edit the data source credentials for this dataset then try it again.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! Opening it on Power BI Desktop and refreshing the data revealed an issue with a many-to-one relationship (from a corrupted entry). I could fix the issue in the database; the dashboard is back up and running!

This would have saved so much time if we had the error message directly in the "detailed" refresh message, instead of a generic error that means nothing...

Anyway, thanks for the help!
