Azure Data Lake Gen 2 Connector Not Working

Following issue has been marked as delivered but bug was re-introduced in October release. I also don't see this issue on list of known issues. Raising a second issue as we've had no additional comments from support despite multiple users experiencing the issue afresh. 

Add CDM Dataset Error:

Unexpected error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Mashup.Cdm.ICdmProvider, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

We have seen on the internal platform that other engineers have reported this issue and submitted it.
The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update here if there is any progress, so please be patient.
