Advanced Filter Issue

On Power BI web version - I am having an issue when advanced filtering for a range of dates between two dates.  E.g.

First filter = On or After 1 January 2017

Second Filter = On or Before 31 December 2017

When I use the calendar to select 1 January in my first filter, it populates 1 January 2017 in my second filter.  I can manually type the date in to get the correct date in my first filter but normally I prefer to use calendat view when selecting dates.

PowerBI team please look into.

Thanks!

Matt

Having this issue as well.

There's a workaround we've found until this gets resolved:
1) Set the first filter on or after and select the date from the calendar
Note that the date will not fill in here

2) Select "And" and select is on or after
The date from above will be filled in here

3) Click apply filter
This will fill in the upper filter with the correct date
4) Select on or before in the second filter, and select the date, then click apply

You'll now have the correct date filters in both

For whatever reason, the date doesn't get filled in the top filter until after you apply it in the second filter (step 2 and 3).

Also having the same issue with the first panel of the Advanced Filter when trying to select a date.  We've published our reports using November 2017 Power BI Desktop (or earlier) and running both 32 Bit and 64 Bit versions. We are using PowerBI Pro licenses and On Premises Gateway.

Same issue occurs when using the Advanced Filter on our iPad Pro.

Thanks Permalink for the work around details.  Looking forward to a speedy fix.

This issue will be fixed in the early January 2018.

Was the fix supposed to be released with todays January update?

I'm still seeing this bug.

This is making life difficult for us as our user expereince very much relies on the use of the date filter.

Also still having this issue.

Another work around is to manually type in the first date "On or after" then pick the second.

Not ideal as unexpected behaviour for users.

Any update please?
