unable to connect to BigQuery

I am trying to connect to my BigQuery Data using the new datasouce option.

 

I get the following error and i'm not sure how to rectify it

Is this something to do with being blocked by our company firewall?

Are you connecting to BigQuery data using ODBC connector? If yes, please try to use the Google BigQuery connector (beta) to see if it works.

I get this message when trying to use the new Google BigQuery connector (beta).

 

I think it is my work firewall, as i tried it on a non-company WiFi connection and it worked, but when trying to use it via the company WiFi I get the error.
