subscribe report send to sharepoint still sends an email

following the instructions here for the preview feature using send to and selecting SharePoint

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/deliver-report-subscriptions-to-onedrive-sharepoint-preview...

I set up a schedule to save a PDF of a report everyday to at SharePoint folder, however the subscriptions insists on me entering an email address and so I get an email each day with a link to the SharePoint page.

In the example in the announcement of the feature there is no email address shown. How do I remove myself as a recipient as I don't want an email as well (unless there is an error)?

Status: Delivered

Hi @UOLandrewdale ,

Unfortunately, as of now, Power BI requires an email address to be entered when setting up a subscription, even if the primary delivery method is to SharePoint.

If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is the right place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
