Format Export to put filters used at TOP not Bottom?

Is there a way to format the export file so that the filters appear at the top and NOT the bottom of the page? In the past I have seen this done, but have never create a report as such. Is there a setting that I'm not seeing?

Please help.

Thanks!

Hi @KGOLSEN ,

One approach is to manually adjust the layout of your report before exporting. You can place the filters at the top of your report page, ensuring they are visible in the exported file.

Hi @v-xiaoyan-msft ,

Maybe I wasn't clear.

I was referring to the note of:
"Applied filters: ABC, 123, XYZ"

This shows when data is exported as an Excel document.

If you have a file with a lot of filters and forget to go to the bottom and delete it (which I do 98% of the time since I know what I've filtered) and expand column it widens it absurdly. I'm asking if there is a way to place this at the TOP so that it is just more convenient to delete. Simply looking to improve UX design.

Also as a side note. Pretty much every report that I create is formatted to look and act like an Excel document meaning just a table with data that will look and act like a normal Excel workbook when exported. PBI is pretty much only being used to extract and filter data to be analyzed in Excel.

Thanks!
