https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/GenerateToken returning 403 error

Hello Team,

We have embedded the power BI report in our react front-end application. All of a sudden without any change to our workspace https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/GenerateToken response started failing. we are unable to load the report in our application. Its returning 403 forbidden error.

Can you pls suggest what's the issues? anything changed from the Power BI side? We have checked the client's secret etc, and everything looks fine.

After digging down further we found the exact error: 

"error":{"code":"InvalidRequest","message":"You have exceeded the amount of embed token that can be generated on a shared or ProPlus capacity. You need to purchase Azure capacities to generate embed tokens. See https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=868976"

How can we overcome this issue? pls, suggest.

Hi @satyaparida 

Pro or Premium Per User(PPU) license are intended for development testing, so users with these kinds of licenses can only generate limited number of tokens. To remove the restriction, you need a purchased Premium or Embedded capacity. For more details, please refer to How many embed tokens can I create?
