create pivottable unsuccesful

hi

am trying to connect via Excel to our Analysis dataset but it gives me the error message create pivottable unsuccesful. Error message: There was an internl error whil processing the request.

I have full admin rights on the db and there should be no issues to upload it in excel.

Connections with other db's are giving no issues.

Anyone has an idea what cause this and what to do to solve it???

Appreciate your response

M

Hi @Anonymous ,

Are you connecting to the dataset by Analyze in Excel? To bring Power BI datasets into Excel, you need install Analyze in Excel update. You could download it from Power BI service if you haven’t found it on your machine. For more details, you could refer to Start in Power BI with Analyze in Excel - Power BI | Microsoft Docs.

Then, you could bring dataset to Excel by Analyze in Excel option on the top of the report page.
