When you copy and paste text into a textbox, the font choice always reverts to Segoe UI

Steps to reproduce:

1. In PowerBI Desktop, insert new text box into report.

2. Change font from Segoe UI (default) to other value (e.g. Arial, Verdana, etc.)

3. Copy and paste text into text box.

Expected behavior:

Font for text box remains what was chosen in step 2.

Actual behavior:

Font for text box "resets" to Segoe UI.

The latest version of Power BI Desktop works fine for me. You may try it.

I have the latest version, Here's some GIFs of it acting abnormally:

Pasting converts font back to Segoe UI:

Deleting text reverts the default font to Segoe UI

Here's one that's super weird (but also obvious if you understand the tool is just injecting span elements)

Insert a new line - font shows Cambria - hit left and right to navigate away from and back to new line, font is now Segoe UI:

Seems to be some code triggered to inject span elements under certain conditions, but I don't think these are the right conditions.
