Usage Metrics not working

I have read through the forums and this seems like a common issue. Our usage metrics are not accurate. We have users who we know are accesssing the report and using it but the usage metrics does not show accurate usage. I went through all the help articles I could find and do not see anything we are doing wrong.

 

Is there a known issue with this?

An internal ICM 299848536 has been submitted and the engineers are working hard to fix the issue, I will give you feedback here as soon as there are any updates.

we got the feedback:

 

All records are not designed to have exactly the same properties. There are different attributes depending on the activity type, so some fields may be empty in some activities and populated in another. You can try looking in Audit Logs when there is an occasional mismatch in the data.
