Unable to open PBIX files after April 2020 update

I am unable to open any of the desktop files since the latest April udpate. The error message says the file cannot be found. How can I fix this? Do I need to download an earlier version and where can I do that?

Hi @kaisa

Please ensure the pbix file is saved in your local drive rather than network drive. Then run Power BI desktop as administrator, click on File -> Open to see if you are able to open the report.

To get previous Power BI desktop versions, you can find then in this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-latest-update-archive
