Unable to Publish a report in Power BI Service while connected via Redshift Direct Query

I can connect to redshift with desktop but not via the service. When I publish the report to the service, it asks me to give the credentials for redshift, but when i do that I get this following error everytime

 

 

 

"The credentials you provided for the data source are invalid. Please check the credentials for all the data sources

 

How can I sort this out?

Does the hostname match the certificate? If not, you need to use the hostname that matches the certificate.

It says the data source for my credentials is invalid. You can see the below image, I try to login with my master username and password which works well for all my other redshift connections.

 

The other two options extension Datasourcekind and path cannot be edited. The path is same as the one in my cluster. i dont know why I am getting this error

I am not able to publish a Power BI Report created via Amazon Redshift Direct Query to Service. It says my data source credentials are invalid.

 

I use the same Redshift credentials that I use for all my other connections. The datasource path shown in the power BI service is also right.

 

this is the error I am getting. The datasource path and the name in that image shown cannot be edited as well. We can only enter the username and the pwd. i used my cluster's master username and password for the same and it did not work.

 

I dont know why I am getting this error? Did anyone face the same issue if so how did you solve it?
