Unable to Connect to Google Analytics via Dataflow Web API

Hello,

I'm trying to connect to Google Analytics via dataflow (the connector doesn't exist here). The Web API doesn't work. I'm either getting this issue:

"The Web Page connector requires a gateway. If you want to access a non-HTML resource without the gateway, please use the Web API connector or one of the File connectors instead. (Session ID: f3bdd0db-c9bc-45ab-83ab-b415e2085bf1)" when trying 'Basic' or 'Anonymous' access.

or:

"There was an error in the OAuth popup window (Session ID: f3bdd0db-c9bc-45ab-83ab-b415e2085bf1" when trying to access via an organizational account.

Can someone please recommend a suitable way forward?

Many thanks,

Jasper

You may try using Migrate queries to dataflows.

Hi, were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your GA account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your GA fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
