Tile redirection to specific report page

Hi,

When setting up an app via the serrvice, is it possible to create a URL which points to a specific report page, or are you always forced in to opening the first page of the report? It seems like you're always forced to point to a specific "dashboard or report to link to". Ideally, I want an image, which then has a hyperlink to a specific report page.

Hi @jkay27,

Based on my research, we can only set the landing page of the published app with a dashboard or report. If landing page is a report, when we open the app, it will display the same report page as we open the report in app workspace directly. 

For your requirement, you can add this image in a new dashboard or report as a workaround. Also you can submit your feedback here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas

Going to a specific tab of the report then using that URL seems to work as I'd expect, except if you're accessing that URL via a app tile in the service then it'll open in a separate page rather than within the same window, but the iOS behaviour is as hoped for.
