Table Created When Using Summarized Columns - Calculated Column Issues/Bug

Occasionally when attempting to change a calculated column in a table created using summarizebycolumn, the calculated column will replace the formula for the table, thus rendering the entire table useless.

Undo is typically unavailable after this so you're forced to reload the last saved version.

Is it possible for you to share a pbix file with some dummy data so we can test it? 

Or could you clarify detail steps about how to reproduce the issue?

I'll need some time to put togethe a file with dummy data but the steps are as follows:

1. NewTable = SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(...)
2. Add a new column with a formula
3. Go back and edit column, it replaces the SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(...) call.

It doesn't happen every time so hopefully it can be reproduced.

I followed your steps to test in Power BI desktop version 2.68.5432.841 64-bit (April 2019) but not able to reproduce the issue. Assume I create a calculated column via Column = TODAY() in step 2, when I go back to select the calculated column Column, the DAX is TODAY() instead of SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(). 

Please try to run the same Power BI desktop version as ours then test it again.
