System Memory Usage Issue rising high while using Power BI Report Server Desktop

Hi,

I am working in Remote Desktop Sever where I have Power BI report server desktop version. I am getting my data from backend source as SQL in my power bi dashboard. Even though I dont open any of the dashboards in desktop version in remote desktop, the Memory uasge in Task manager is rising up for "SQL Server Analysis" , and is going to 90 % and above.

I dont understand how this memory usage is rising high even for SQL server analysis even there is no power bi dashboards open.

Is there is way that I can optimize this memory usage of the system .

hi

First, you'd better increase the RAM memory, Power BI requires a lot of memory when processing data.

then optimize your data model.

and for your case, you said even there is no power bi dashboards open, it consumes a lot of memory, try to uninstall and reinstall the power bi desktop to have  a test.
