Streaming datasets not working

Hi,

In the company we are starting to test the use of streaming dataset but it doesn't work when we enable it to contain history.
When having activated to maintain history the insertion returns the answer 500, however when maintaining it as streaming it returns the answer 200, but we do not see that it inserts anything when connecting to the dataset in local. Could it be that this part is still in development and are known errors?

Hi @subirana21, 

The streaming dataset doesn't have a underlying database. Power BI only stores the data into a temporary cache, which quickly expires. But if we turn on the Historic data analysis option, the dataset becomes both a streaming dataset and a push dataset, so we are able to create a report based on the collected data stream.
