Small Value are not displaying properly in some Markets in table Visual

Hi team,

Small Values in my report were not displaying properly in some markets in Table Visual. The Numbers were displaying as: "-6.94600E-5". (Scrnsht1 attached for reference).

However this issue in not there for even smaller values which were displaying in other markets. There the values are displaying perfectly fine. (Scrnsht2Scrnsht1: Numbers not displaying correctly for some markets.Scrnsht1: Numbers not displaying correctly for some markets.Scrnsht2: Numbers displying correctly for some markets.Scrnsht2: Numbers displying correctly for some markets. attached for reference) I have checked the backend data and number format, everything seems fine but still i am getting the issue in some markets.

Can you please guide what should be the reasons ?

Hi @Anonymous,

The normal notation of the -6.94600E-5 should be -0.00006946, right?

Based on my test in Power BI desktop version 2.73.5586.984 64-bit (September 2019), if we don't set the format as Scientific, the value -0.00006946 doesn't display with E notation. See:

Please update your Power BI desktop to the latest version as ours then test again.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft ,

Thanks for your response.

The Actual value for :  UK-Duofilm (As referred in my Above Scrnsht) : 6.946 which is showing as 6.94600E-5.

The Issue got reolved when i changed the decimals from Modelling tab.

However when i keep the decimals 0 in Modelling tab and tried to change the decimals from formatting tab on right, then again i faced the same issue. Although the problem is solved but i just wanted to know why Pbi is behaving this way ?

I am using July Version of Powerbi.

Thanks
