Single table refresh not working in June 2024 version of Power BI desktop

Hello,

Refresh of individual tables does not seem to work in the latest June 2024 version of Power BI desktop. It was fine with the May 2024 version. I even tried re-installing Power BI. However, nothing seems to work.

Hi,

Same problem here.

When I try to refresh data from a single table in the right side doesn't appears the window with the process.

The refresh process works, because I see the data updated, but the window is missing (I can't see the possible errors, for example)

Thanks!

Refreshing the complete power bi is a time-consuming activity, as many report not need to be refreshed daily basis, single table refresh is very important for efficient working I guess.

Secondly, refresh button on the table is for what use then,   I think refresh is working fine only the pop-up window not visible.

If the pop up window is no longer there, how do you know when the single source refresh is complete?

@RichSussex

In my case, when a number or date, that I know always changes during a refresh, it does

You can observe too the top left in a pivot table or dashboard in your report. When is refreshing the final data appears a kind of wheel.

I hope they fix the issue as soon as possible, becasuse if we don't have the window we can't observe possible errors during the refresh.

Hi all ,

I need to double check that the individual table refresh you guys are talking about, is it under the Data list, select a specific table, then click More options, select refresh data. The refresh window pops up for the May version, but after upgrading to June, the window doesn't pop up, correct?

Hi  all,

I have submitted your issue to ICM . I will come back with updates if there is any progress . Until the problem is fixed, you can choose to install the May version for use. Thank you for your cooperation !

It does seem to refresh.  My main concern is that if there is an error.  There is no difference to the user if the refresh fails unless you refresh all tables.  It will then identify the problem in the refresh dialog window.  You have no way to know this if you are refreshing single tables.
