Sharing the dataset between different groups.

Right now what issues we are facing is, we get our data set from one of our server at a different location in one of the group and that data is more likely a raw data. what we want is if we could share the master dataset and then we could create different reports in different groups, once we get the data from the powerbi services, we can't really use most of the functions, and most of the functions get's greyed out. I am fairley new to Powerbi and learning, any suggestions are welcome.

You can vote on this idea: Ability to share datasets or connection to other users..

Possible way is to create a content pack, then client user get this content pack, to "Make a cop" to customize his own report. See: Organizational content packs: Copy, refresh, & get access.
