SVG Image URL in Card (New) Visual is not working - March 2025 update

The new card visual seems to have a bug when using a measure containing svg-code. By selecting Image type = Image URL and adding a measure with svg-code to create a custom graphic, nothing happens. 

 

It looks like the issue is specific to the Card (new) visual after the update, since previously created ones are still working and the PNG images are working in other visuals so the problem is likely with the Card (new) visual itself, possibly due to a breaking change in the latest update.

 

Note: when reverting back to feb version, its working fine.

It's super annoying, My PC version is still on Jan version and it works perfectly fine there but the web version is not displaying. My report goes to atleast 500 people. Can we expect a resolution any time sooner or do I start using alternates like HTML Content visual!?

Upvoted! Hopefully that we will get fast respond from the microsoft teams, since some of us has auto update initiated by our IT department and the workaround need to be done each time it is forced update to march version

Same problem, image url works well on desktop but does not appear on pbi service.

We just started experiencing this on a couple of dashboards as well. Hopefully Microsoft fixes this.

Big issue here too - this is causing a lot of problems in widely used dashboards across multiple teams. Hopefully Microsoft addresses quickly as implementing a workaround will be a major pain

Same issue here. Using a Base64 jpeg image via a measure into the Image URL fx of a Card (new) and since 2 days the image is not showing anymore. The card shows the text value of the data::image/jpeg etc etc.
