We're trying to translate column headers dynamically in Power BI. With the method described in Translations in tabular models, we were able to add translations to our tabular model, deploy to Azure analysis services server (In Power BI, we're doing a live connection to the Azure server), and get the translations working in Power BI Desktop (except for some characters like "ä").
However, the dynamic translations don't work when the reports are published to Power BI Service.
If we turn our dataset into a Power BI premium dataset by deploying our tabular model to the premium workspace instead of Azure and use that as the data source, then the translations do work in Service.
We'd like to keep our model on the Azure server and are expecting the same translation result regardless of the path to publishing the report online. Since tabular model translations work in Desktop, they should not stop working when reports are published to Service.
Hope these details help, thank you!
