SSAS Formatting not respected Power BI Chart Visuals

When using a Calculated Measure from a Multidimensional SSAS cube in a power bi chart visual, the FORMAT_STRING is not respected. The FORMAT_STRING is displayed in a table visual, but not a chart visual.

Hi @GilbertLittle,

Would you please share a screenshot to clarify which FORMAT_STRING you specific for the calculated measure on SSAS side?

Also please share a screenshot about table and chart visual in Power BI desktop.

Best Regards,

Format_String used for Forecast Error is "0.0%". Have also used Format_String = "Percent".

Charts don't show any SSAS calculated measure Format_String for any measure - doesn't work with "$0,000" etc... Works fine for tables as shown below. The same information is displayed in both the table and the chart. The table shows the % but the chart shows the decimal number, which is annoying.

Hi @GilbertLittle,

Please try to set Format String as "#,##0.0 %;-#,##0.0 %"  then test it again.

If issue still occurs, please try to create a sample cube with dummy data, upload your .abf file to OneDrive and send the share link to me via private message.

Best Regards,
