Report was published but disconnected

"The publication was merged. However, we were unable to update your dataset. Please update your dataset manually or schedule an update."

 

I'm facing this error, but I don't know how to fix it. There is no gateway configured and I have also deleted the dataset and the report and published it again in the workspace but this error persists. Can you help me?

This is just a way of troubleshooting, and does not mean that every future update should be renamed. And if you update the content on Desktop, you don't need to delete the original report and semantic model on Service,when you re-upload it, the new report will overwrite it on top of the original, if you have the same name.

Hi @cqueiroz2222 

What if you rename the report and then publish it to your workspace? Does this still happen? After you've deleted the previous semantic model, you can clear your browser's cache and log back in, then try to republish again to see if it works.

But then will I need to change the name of the report every time I need to update the data? Because do I update more than once daily.
