Report not surfacing all the users via view usage statistics

I've found a variety of reports we're publishing are not reporting on all the users who've viewed the report. For instance, a SM in the business has used the report and asked questions on the report but the fact they've viewed the report isn't surfacing for our usage metrics. This needs to be solved as it's having a direct effect on my reporting capabilities on report usage by limiting numbers.

Hi,

As far as I’m concerned, the usage metrics has a refresh period of 24 hours, which means it will update the data displayed until 24 hours later.

This is the limitations of it in the official document:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics#considerations-and...

Thank you very much!

Sorry, this doesn't explain my issue.

I appreciate that there may well be a reporting gap of 24 hours, but still, a key user hasn't actually appeared on the usage statistics despite navigating through each page.

There appears to be a wider issue here.

Hi,

I think you can try to use the new usage report, in this report, every user opening a report in the Power BI service triggers a ViewReport event.
