Export summarized data to excel in Embedded Gen2?

We are using Power BI Embedded Gen 2 resource in our solution. 

Now our customers noticed, that the possibility to export summarized data directly to Excel is gone, and the only possibility for export is csv-format. This isn't a showstopper, but I understand the annoyance of our customers.

Is there some possibility to control these options in the reports so, that we could get the Excel-possibility back? If we downgrade the resource to Gen1, do we get this possibility back?
