REFRESH Data

Hello:

When you refresh data from Power BI Desktop (Importing) most of the time it times out.

If you go to PBI Porperties--- Data Load --- look for "Parallel loading of Tables". It is enable by default.

When you do refresh, half way thru you will encounter this error as shown below.

After disabling, i ran refresh for data and it completed suucessfully. So there is bug\flaws for "Parallel loading of Tables" when it is enabled.

There are many customers taht are IMPORTING Data in Power BI.

Microsoft need to FIX this ASAP.

Hi @aaditya2000,

1. Please run the latest Power BI desktop version. 

2. Please check the machine has Power BI desktop run performance when you refresh the data. You can check it in Task Manager. 

2. Please also check Oracle server performance at the same time data refreshed, you can contact Oracle admin for help. 

4. Please share the desktop trace log around the time the error throws out.
