PowerBI not refreshing session in the same browser window

We have a production implementation of Power-BI and we keep seeing the  issues that PowerBI doesn't fetch the latest data when we refresh the page. We need to close the old window and open a new one to get the latest data.

Any help around this would be appreciated.

What is your data source here? Did you get data (Import or DirectQuery) and create report with Power BI Desktop, then publish to Power BI Service? Have you configured scheduled refresh for your dataset?
