Since upgrading Power BI Desktop to May 2023 version, all Power Platform Dataflow connections using DirectQuery or Dual mode have failed to refresh. The same issue persisted when Power BI Desktop was upgraded to June 2023 version 2.118.621.0 64-bit.
Attempts to connect to the dataflow also show that DirectQuery is not possible even though the dataflow has been set with enhanced compute engine turned ON in the workspace.
This issue also doesn't seem to be present when trying to connect using Power BI dataflows (Legacy), but there are other complications using the legacy connector which impedes the reversion to using the legacy connector.
The refreshes were working prior to the May and June updates and are still working when the refresh was run on a colleague's Power BI Desktop that is still on the April 2023 version.
The dataset that is published on Power BI Service continues to refresh without any issues as well.

Hi @brandonyeo
If you roll back to the April release and use DirectQuery or Dual mode to connect to Power Platform Dataflow, you won't get the error reported, right?
