Power BI in-place semantic model - not showing in desinger for external user

Hi

Have tried to share a semantic model cross tenant. The guest is created as external in our azure enviroment.
They aer also workspace admin.

if they logon to power bi service, they can see and work with the data. But if they try to download a model or load via onelake in desktop designer, then they get an error or nothing shows.

Hi @DennisSchlein ,

Please make sure the guest user has the correct permissions. You can grant access to a semantic model using the Share semantic model dialog. You can specify the types of access you wish to grant, such as allowing recipients to modify the semantic model, share the semantic model, or build content with the data associated with the semantic model.

There should be an option for “Guest users can work with shared semantic models in their own tenants” in the tenant settings in the admin portal.. Make sure this is enabled.
