Power BI Workspace Include in app feature disabled

Hi,

 

We are unable to use the toggle button for Include in App feature in our workspace. The section is greyed out after the new version of workspace was launched. Kindly provide suggestions.

 New version of workspace ? Can you explain it in detail ? Power BI Service currently only supports the creation of one kind of workspace. Do you mean this new version ? In my Service , it is normally . Where your tenant is located ?

We had an automatic upgrade applied to the company workspace somehow. This has happened ever since the option of Audience settings have appreared. "Include in App" has grayed out since then.Recorded Video link below shows the error & views.

 

Would appreciate some guidance since this is a blocker for our work.

I see that there is a yellow reminder box on the webpage in your video , do you want to try to click on the view or just turn off the reminder box and try again ?

Turning off the reminder or clicking the View leads us to see the people who are pending on to be approved/denied for workspace access. This in no way leads to anything with the "Include In app" setting anywhere. We have tried doing that step.

Hello @MaddieUpadhyay 

You can go to Update Apps and in the second step - Content there is a option to Add Content then just click on + Add Content then one dialouge box will open and from there you will be able to select/deselect the apps accordingly. After select/deselect click on Add button and then update the app.

Thank you for your suggestion, but does it mean that the Feature "Include in app" in the usual way is no longer viable and this is the only way we can add new reports to the App?

The current method is adding content in the app . About the new features of the app you can refer to this blog .
