We have recently upgraded our on premise Power BI server to Sept 2021 version in PRODUCTION. The only issue is with report’s scheduled data refresh which fails with the following error message:
[0] -1055784932: DataSource.Error: SAP Business Warehouse: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. DataSourceKind = SapBusinessWarehouse. DataSourcePath = <XXXXX01/01/020>. Message = Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. ;SAP Business Warehouse: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
The data refresh for this report was working before the Power BI version upgrade. After the upgrade, the Power BI server VM was rebooted. The report was deleted and redeployed and data refresh was recreated. But it still failed data refresh with that error message. Could you please suggest how to resolve the issue ASAP? Whether there is the detailed error message in refresh history or gateway settings when refresh failed, you can click 'Show details' in these panes to find it.
