Power BI Report Builder - Format Excel

Hi, I created a paginated report in Power BI Report Builder and used Column Groups.

You could see that I left no space at the end of the table because I expected the columns to be repeated without any spaces. When I viewed the report, I found no spaces there. But when I exported to Excel, there was a space after the first column group.

What can I do so that there will be no space after the first column group?

Thank you!

Hi @pramitannisa ,

I wasn't able to reproduce your problem, if adjusting the page layout when designing MATRIX would solve your problem?
This looks like a gap reserved due to pagination.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for responding !

Can you try again to create report like this? Having at least two categories for the header and make it as Column Groups.

From the pictures you have sent, you could try to create the Continent & Countries like
ASIA > Indonesia, Japan, Korea
EUROPE > Germany, France
NORTH AMERICA > USA
and add the continent (parent) and the countries (child) as Column Groups.

Thankyou!

Sorry for the late reply, I tried as you asked but no problem.
Did you adjust the page layout according to my suggestion?
