Power BI R visuals do not work on windows on ARM

As described  here   R visuals do not work on WINARM, PBI desktop do not allow to detect or change the R installation.

This is a bug, when can we get a fix?

If you want to use R visual in power bi desktop, you need to notice the following requirements and limitations:

Hi Selina,

I have experience in Windows x64 running Python & R inside Power BI as visuals or steps in Power Query, but this issue is a bug in ARM64 devices running Power BI, for some reason the installation is not detected and you are not allowed to change or write the R location.

 

In order to have Microsoft a transition to a new architecture such as ARM64 we need compatibility with our tools, Power BI is the main used in business intelligence, therefore this issue needs to be reproduce at your side and resolve as soon as possible.
