Yeah, that's the popup we all see. It's really not worth the effort reporting it. It would probably have been easier to fix the thread closure priority problem than implement this feedback link popup. Hey ho.

Yes, I continue to have this issue.   Seems especially bad when Teams is being used - BSOD every second day.

@Stevecnz2 this isn't a BSOD issue, I'd suggest reporting that as a different support ticket. The symptom is power bi stops responding and just repeatedly gives an error box about webview2.

This appears to be because power bi doesn't set the shutdown priority of the webview2 it uses, so that gets closed by the os before power bi can save its data. It's likely to be a one line fix, but looks like it's lost in the backlog.

Whenever I open PBI reports, I frequently encounter WebView2 crashes. Tried some steps suggested and wasn't able to solve the issue.

Exactly the same experience as @chadl I experienced this issue while initiating a windows restart. Windows was trying to restart, said that it was having problems closing some apps (of which Power BI Desktop was one), so I clicked Cancel so that I could manually close the apps. This is when Power BI appeared with a full black screen and gave the WebView2 error.

Update to my Webview2 error: I repaired WebView2 on my computer and it solved the issue.
