Power BI Desktop Screen Randomly Freezes

I think it's since the November release, Power BI desktop has been randomly freezing on me at least once a day. I will take an action, like go to a different tab or a custom tool tip and the screen suddenly goes completely white and freezes there. I've let it sit for hours and it does not come back. I have to use Task Manager to shut PBI down. I've lost a lot of work and have had to redo it.

It is a known issue and has been submitted to ICM, the id is 341202061. I'll be back with an update if there's any progress .
