Power BI Desktop February release bug

I just updated to latest version of Power BI Desktop and can no longer link tables

I've tried creating links between a few different tables, deleted and regenerated them, etc. No luck. I'm getting the message: "Unexpected Error    Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

@aaronjlevitt

Existing issue has already been reported internally: CRI 31467006

Please create relationships in the "Manage Relationships" window as alternative. The fix should be included in the Mar 2017 version of PBI Desktop.

Herbert

Great, thanks!

With the new version, I am having difficulty refreshing queries that have "merged queries" as a step.

The process seems to get caught in an endless loop or maybe has a data leak.

Wow!! that's huge...no real workaround for that one I'm guessing.

I'm experiencing this issue as well. A huge hit on my productivity, and no patch yet? OUCH, that hurts guys - how can I revert to an earlier version?

@tylersbrown01

Try with Jan 2017 version if you'd like before the Mar 2017 version is released.

Currently, the way I have been able to create relationships is by clicking on Manage Relationships function and NOT dragging and dropping a connection between tables.  When I try to drag and drop method, I receive the same message:  "Unexpected Error    Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I can relate to the merged query issue.......the new version seems to dislike to many merges within one query......

Reverting back to an older version sounds great, except I have experienced that reports developed by older BI versions cannot be published to the cloud.  Has anyone else experienced this?
