Paginated Report Export to Excel Row Subtotals Included despite not configuring

We found that when you render a paginated report in web browser, using matrix visual works as configured. However, when exporting the same report to Excel, subtotal rows are added to the excel export, even though they have not been configured to do so in report builder.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Paginated report will export the table exactly to each cell in the excel. It will happen only when you design the report correctly.

I don't quite understand your description, is there a matrix visual in your report or is it just a normal table that has a row subtotal after export?

Best regards.

Hi Caitlyn,

We have a paginated report which has the matrix visual. We have configured column groups totals, but not row group subtotals. And when we export the report to excel, the row group subtotals are appearing without us having configured them. The row shows a blank cell under the row group name and is followed by cells that sum (subtotals) the row. We do not want this behavior. Is this the default behavior for exporting a report to excel?

Hi,

exactly the same issue here 😞

The preview of the matrix is right in the execution window, but extra empty lines for each group level created when exported to excel. Every other exports are ok !
