1 Uninstall your desktop again, but this time please delete content in the following path: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop Then, reinstall this application with "Run as administrator"
2 If the above solution is not applicable to your situation, please consider updating the version of your report server and desktop or follow this link to ask a support engineer for further help.
May I know whether this issue happens during you intall Power BI Desktop for Reprot Server or it happens when you lanching this application? If this issue happens when you launch it? May I know how you open it? Did you open it by the icon or open it with a report?
Well, May 2021 desktop was working fine and suddenly started giving errors. So I had uninstalled and installed it back. The error I got while launching or opening power BI from the Icon. I also ran PBI as an administrator.
