PBIRS May 2020: paginated report - external image no longer rendering

Hi, a client of mine has recently (2 weeks ago) upgraded their PBI Report Server version to the May 2020 release; and since then the external images have stopped rendering.  We are presented with no error message (or "x" placeholder); just nothing appears.  Opening the browser developer tools, seems to show that an image file may have been decoded but not showing?

I've seen some old posts, suggesting one should check the trustedfiletypes config but i'm having trouble tracking down a guide that explains where/how to check this config.

Take a look at Server Properties (Advanced Page) and create a support ticket for assistance if necessary.

@v-chuncz-msft : Thanks.  After more troubleshooting today, it seems the connection to the image file which is uploaded to a sharepoint assets library (https:\\) is being blocked.  Was there a security enhancement with the PBIRS May 2020 release; which could have resulted in https calls being blocked ?  Or maybe it is just timing cooincidence.
